How to update your personal consumer information - Android

If you need to update your personal information, you may do so within the application.
Note: Your updated information will need to be reviewed. During the review process you will not be able to send or receive digital currency until your application has been approved. Any wallet balances will be available again once your application has been approved.

With a bank account

  1. In the Digital Currency application, select the Menu icon at the top left.
  2. Select Personal Information from the account section.
  3. Here, you’ll be able to review your information and make any necessary changes in application. You can change your First Name,Last Name, Date of Birth, Phone Number, Bank Account Number. Please Note the following things:
    • The previously submitted email and financial institution cannot be changed. All communication generated within the application is always sent to the original email address and associated with the selected financial institution.
    • If you need to change your email address or financial institution, you will need to submit a new, unique application. Details on this process are provided in the application.
  4. After you’ve made the required changes, scroll down and select Update Information.
  5. You will then receive a re-verification warning. Once you have read the notice you can proceed to select Confirm or Cancel.
  6. If you have selected Confirm, a confirmation screen will appear and you can select Done. Your application will now be automatically resubmitted for review by the financial institution.

Without a bank account

If you have registered with and you don’t have a bank account, please use the following steps to update your info:

  1. In the Digital Currency application, select the Menu icon at the top left.
  2. Select Personal Information from the account section.
  3. Here, you’ll be able to review your information and make any necessary changes in application. You can change your First Name,Last Name, Date of Birth, Phone Number, and Residential Information. Please Note the following things:
    • The previously submitted email cannot be changed. All communication generated within the application is always sent to the original email address.
    • You are required to submit your photo ID and selfie again in order to edit any personal information.

  4. After you’ve made the required changes, scroll down and select Continue.
  5. On the Photo ID Verification screen, select the Country of Issue and one Type of ID. Then select Scan ID.
  6. Next, you will need to upload a photo of your government-issued identification based on the type of ID you selected in the previous step. Follow the on-screen directions to add your identification.
  7. You will also need to upload a selfie. Follow the on-screen directions to add your image.
  8. On the Review Information screen, review the updated information that you have provided. Next scroll down and select Update Information.
  9. You will then receive a re-verification warning. Once you have read the notice you can proceed to select Confirm or Cancel.
  10. If you have selected Confirm, a confirmation screen will appear and you can select Done. Your application will now be automatically resubmitted for review by the financial institution.
